I hired Matt to design a new garden and coach me in building a stone wall. One of the biggest problems we had with previous professionals we considered, that Matt did not, was the ability to listen. Matt listened and made design recomendatationa that met the requirements and then improved upon the plan. He then helped me execute it.

I can’t say that my project came out as good as Matt’s others but I learned a lot and enjoyed the effort. Over the course of years I’ve had the chance to see many of Matt’s hardscape projects and even got to work on one with him. There is no one harder working and more dedicated to getting it done. Combine that with great skill and you have an unbeatable combination.

He has great knowledge of plants too. You will not find a more complete landscape designer and executor.

Matt has done a great job for us at both of our houses in the past few years. He designed and installed a random bluestone patio at each house and a cut bluestone patio at our new house. He also designed and installed amazing bluestone steps and two beautiful perennial gardens at our new home. Many of our neighbors have commented on his excellent work. I was looking for someone to transform my bare backyard that is up on a hill in a very populated subdivision, into a place that I could retreat to for relaxation and a bit of privacy. Matt Leonetti (Morning Dew Landscaping and Stonework) created a few possibilities for me to choose from and he was EXCELLENT in taking the things I wanted and transforming them into something that was beyond anything I hoped for. His creativity, attention to detail, and mastery in his field are exemplary!

I hired Morning Dew to take care of a laundry list of jobs: weeding and mulching flowerbeds, adding fines to walkways and paths, cleaning up a stone wall, replacing a chipped patio stone, and brush-hogging. Matt, the owner, was very pleasant to work with, and made sure nothing on the list was forgotten.

I was out-of-state while most of the work was being done, and Matt kept in touch by text and by sending pictures. When I asked if he could send pictures of work done by another contractor at the site at the same time, he not only sent them, but he also went to the trouble of calling to explain the details. He also made an extra trip to the site to take care of minor cleanup that I couldn’t do while I was away.

I would be happy to hire Morning Dew again for a large or small job.
